Researchers from Modular Robotics Lab at the University of Pennlysvannia are working on cool robotics technologies; their latest robot can put itself back together after being exploded. If you dont believe it, watch the movie I found today on Marc Andreessen's blog (Netscape Founder): <click here>
Jeff Hecht from the New Scientist sees in the robot a potential tool for soldiers and police as well: "For an astronaut in orbit, an army mechanic in remote terrain or even a homeowner trying to fix a furnace on a cold winter night, it could be just the thing."
