New Security Association in the UK: SITC

On Wednesday, your correspondents went to the opening event of the newly established Security Innovation and Technology Consortium (SITC), backed by UK's SEEDA.
SITC recently appointed Stephen Swain as its first Chief Executive Officer. Stephen comes to SITC from Control Risks, previously having attained the rank of Detective Chief Superintendent in the Metropolitan Police Service and is a specialist in Counter-Terrorism.
SITC aims to bring together security SMEs with industry and government. We applaud their mission and wish them good luck in their endeavor.
