iViZ, a GSC Semi-Finalist 2007 Raises $2.5m - Bringing Total of GSC Alumni to over $37 million

We are proud to report on the success story from iViZ, who was selected to be one of the top-6 security startups worldwide by the Global Security Challenge 2007 and was one our Asian Semi-Finalists.

iViZ is an Information Security Company from India, which offers the world's only on-demand (SaaS based) end-to-end, automated Penetration Testing (Ethical Hacking).  iViZ has developed the world’s first tool to simulate human hacker intelligence to detect all possible paths of attack in a system / network and also suggest suitable remedies.

Subsequent to their participation in the Global Security Challenge in 2007, they recently reported this progress:

•  Raised $ 2.5 Million from IDG Ventures.

•  Clients: More than 60 known brands like CNN, CNBC, British Telecom, TCS, Reliance, MakeMyTrip.Com, Times Group, Indian Defense as customers. Expected to close $ 1.5 Million revenue this year.

•  Team: Built a passionate team of 30 comprising of Ex-Director Product Strategy, Oracle, USA; Ex-Head of Sales, Sasken; prominent French security researcher and some of best minds not only from India but also USA and EU.
