Cloud Security Challenge - Open to applications!
Cloud Security Challenge - Apply today!
Have an innovative idea to protect access to the cloud, regulatory compliance or data integrity? As cloud computing is investigated and adopted by businesses, its inherent security risks are becoming more apparent. Governments and large enterprises around the world are attracted to the benefits of the cloud, but are hesitant because of security and privacy risks. The Global Security Challenge, together with HP Labs, has launched the first Cloud Security Challenge competition to explore radically new ideas and game-changing solutions in order to make cloud computing more secure.
Martin Sadler, Director of the Systems Security Lab at HP Labs, says: "The Cloud Security Challenge not only allows us to find the much needed new security technologies that will be needed to minimise the risks in using the cloud – it also allows us to find new questions that we will need to find answers to."
The winners will receive a US$10,000 cash prize and up to three of the finalists may be invited to test their technology in the HP Labs test-bed. The Cloud Security Challenge is also supported by the Cloud Security Alliance and Cloudsecurity.org. To submit your idea, you must be logged-in to the GSC Online Community. If you are not already a member you need to join to access the application forms (joining the GSC Online Community is free!)

Hello, my name is Virgil Mathis I live in Chicago as Inventor of a high tech way to use Amputee Disabled Veterans in a control Center to use the new kind of borders and ports Homeland Security devices to Challenge hot spots of security around the World.
The Illinois Institute of Technology completed the 3D CAD Drawings of my project that creates about 900 Jobs for Veterans to do Digital Activated Guard Duty from A Military perspective, my broshure and proposal info is sent to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to allow technology Institutes to write up the grant that is necessary and to save Valuable time from Doubting thomas individuals and dream busters who have no electrical experience or technical back ground to evaluate my Solution.
The SBA , score and united states small business Development centers are not the best people to communicate with in the U.S.A. when it comes to technology individuals such as my self and for Venture Capital people who want to hear about technology Solutions -to evaluate things in ten minutes from a quick session fast talk -this is not the best way to under-stand the innovators who need much more time to get the message out that can Solve technology problems such as Homeland Security..
There are not enough African Americans in the pipeline of Innovations for Borders and ports Homeland Security and there is very little out reach in my community but I am excited to be one of the first from Chicago
There fore febuary is African American History Month in the USA and today by priority mail I have sent my Homeland security project info to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs -asking to Honor my project as the Veterans -Doris Miller -Veterans Challenger borders and ports Homeland Security system named after the World War two Hereo Doris Miller who during the Attack on Dec. 7th 1941 he was a Hereo
By the way next month the Doris Miller Postage stamp will be used in the UNITED States postal service to Honor Doris Miller and my Homeland security project is to be named after him
