The Global Security Challenge Opens Competition to Help Fight Terrorism and Improve Homeland Security

The fifth annual Global Security Challenge Competition, the leading international competition for security innovators, is open for entries.  The competition offers security entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their inventions and compete for up to $500,000 in cash grants.  Top contenders from previous Global Security Challenge Competitions have subsequently raised over $78 million in new capital.

New Competition aims to uncover and solve cloud security issues

The Global Security Challenge, together with HP Labs, launches the first cloud competition to discover innovative new solutions to help protect governments and enterprises as they adopt the cloud

The award includes a $10,000 cash grant, sponsored by HP’s central advanced research group HP Labs, and mentorship by an executive from CapGemini.  Up to three finalists will also be invited to test their technology in an HP Labs cloud test-bed.

Kromek and Adaptive Imaging Technologies Win the 4th Annual Global Security Challenge 2009

US$500,000 awarded to the most promising security start-ups in the world at the GSC Security Summit 2009

Kromek (UK) and Adaptive Imaging Technologies (Israel) have been awarded $400,000 and $100,000 respectively, as the winners of the Global Security Challenge competition 2009.  The security companies, who were chosen out of hundreds of worldwide entries, pitched their inventions at the GSC Security Summit conference held at London Business School.

Asia and Australasia’s top security start-ups compete in Singapore for a place in the final of the leading international technology competition 

Six high-tech innovative companies have been selected as finalists in the Asia Regional Final of the Global Security Challenge Competition. The finalists will battle it out for cash grants totalling $500,000, plus mentorship from venture capitalists.  The event will be held on 1 October 2020 at the British High Commission in Singapore.

The finalists will battle it out for cash grants totalling $500,000, plus mentorship from venture capitalists. The event will be held on September 29 at the offices of DLA Piper LLP in East Palo Alto.

Six high-tech innovative companies have been selected as finalists in the American Midwest Regional Final of the Global Security Challenge Competition. The finalists will battle it out for cash grants totalling $500,000, plus mentorship from venture capitalists. The event will be held on September 22 at the Chicago campus of Northwestern University.
